\nShern \u2018Skarpyon\u2019 Williams
\nSinger, Song-writer, Composer & Entertainer<\/p>\n

SVG Cultural Ambassador Skarpyon is a Ragga Soca Artist hailed from the beautiful island of
\nSt. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), Yurumein\/Hairouna \u2013 the Land of the Blessed.<\/p>\n

Skarpyon has been singing for most of his life and has carved a niche for himself in the music
\nindustry; becoming SVG\u2019s finest Ragga Soca Artist. Equipped with a smooth, melodic and
\ninfectious voice he is indeed a true emblem of the art form. Skarpyon\u2018s first major public
\nperformance was during his elementary years participating in the Junior Calypso Monarch
\ncompetition. He was noticed by the then organizer of the National Youth band and was invited
\nto become the very first lead vocalist. This opportunity allowed him to develop, and refine his
\ninnate skills as an outstanding entertainer.<\/p>\n

Skarpyon has performed throughout the Caribbean, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United
\nStates. He has an extensive catalog of top, Ragga Soca songs; Look\u2019N Fine, Turn your Lights Down
\nLow, Leave Me Alone, Hammer N Conchs, Real Steel, Rum Do Dat and Big Road are just a handful,
\nall written by the Stingah man himself. Skarpyon also participated in the National Calypso
\nMonarchy Competition arena with his song \u2018Until\u2019 and was awarded Calypso Monarchy. Another
\none of Skarpyon gem was \u201cNever Forget\u201d a patriotic song urging all to \u201cNever Forget their roots\u201d. <\/p>\n

The video went on to win the best video of that year.
\n2019 saw Skarpyon releasing both a track and video for that year’s bagger \u2018RUM DO DAT\u2019 which
\nis still making waves. <\/p>\n

In 2022 we saw big releases from Contagious to the ladies\u2019 favourite Real Steel, Hold It and the
\npeople\u2019s choice BIG ROAD. Skarpyon released a video for the track Big Road that has YouTube
\nviewers in a frenzy. <\/p>\n

Skarpyon not only pens everyone of his songs, he also writes for other artists competing in the
\nJunior and Senior Calypso competitions who emerged victorious!<\/p>\n

Apart from singing\/writing and composing music, Skarpyon has added merchandise to his brand.
\nPresently, he has three of his popular hits: \u201cHammer N Conch\u201d; \u201cRum Do Dat\u201d & \u201cBig Road\u201d
\navailable for sale.<\/p>\n

Coming off his 2022 Hit, \u2018Big Road\u2019, Skarpyon just released his 2023 Ragga Soca Project for
\nVincy Mas where he gives us two solo tracks, Dilute It and Not Today. \u201cDilute it\u201d \u2013 depicts how
\nsweet our Caribbean Women are and \u201cNot Today\u201d speaks about the things affecting us when trying
\nto have a good time! In addition Skarpyon joined up with the up and coming dynamic Diva KeKE
\nwith a tracked deemed \u201cStunta\u201d. All three songs represent the vibez of the people in and out of the party. Also, in 2023 in honour of International Women\u2019s Day, Skarpyon released \u2018No Need To\u2019, a message to end violence against women.<\/p>\n

Skarpyon will be the Headliner in Ottawa on June 11, 2023 for the St. Vincent and the Grenadines
\nTropical Fusion event. Patrons for the very first time will get the opportunity to witness him live in concert as he performs his new releases along with other popular hits.<\/p>\n
