On Friday, Cuba reported 1,241 new Covid-19 cases and ten fatalities from the disease’s complications in the previous 24 hours.
Cuba will exceed 100,000 instances with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes the pandemic, in the next few days since March 2020, with a total number of cases of 99,208.
Dr. Francisco Duran, the National Director of Epidemiology at the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), stated on television that 569 individuals had died due to this sickness.
He went on to say that there are still 24,277 people in hospitals across the country, including 3,538 suspected cases, 15,116 persons under epidemiological monitoring, and 5,623 active patients.
On Thursday, 22,217 real-time PCR tests were performed in all molecular biology facilities around the nation, bringing the total number of such tests to 3,473,135 so far.
