India reports more than 323,000 new Covid-19 cases, 2,771 deaths

After 323,144 cases were recorded in the previous 24 hours, India acknowledged a modest decline in the number of new Covid-19 infections on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare data, the number of patients infected with the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus has increased to 17,636,307, with 197,894 deaths since January 2020.

The sickness claimed the lives of 2,771 persons in one day in India.

There were 251,827 Covid-19 patients discharged from hospitals on Monday, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 14,556,209. There are a total of 2,882,204 active patients or cases.

Covid-19 vaccinations have been administered in the country for a total of 145,271,186 doses.
